Echo Farms Park is a 14-acre park purchased by New Hanover County and the City of Wilmington in September 2018. The park’s five clay tennis courts are open to the public. All other facilities, including the swimming pool, will be closed until renovations are complete. Over the next few years, the park will go through a series of construction phases. The first three phases are expected to be complete in Summer 2020, and will include tennis court repairs, construction of a new tennis/pool clubhouse, renovations to the existing swimming pool, and addition of a 0.7-mile walking trail. The final phases will start by June 2023, and will include additional park amenities. The park will be operated and maintained by New Hanover County Parks & Gardens.
Parking During Construction: The tennis courts are expected to remain open during the current phase of construction. Park visitors should enter the parking lot through the entrance closest to the old golf pro shop. The entrance closest to the pool will be closed during construction. All tennis business operations and restrooms are currently located in the old golf pro shop, Visitors should park in the lot directly adjacent to the old golf pro shop.
