Echo Farms Park is a 14-acre park purchased by New Hanover County and the City of Wilmington in September 2018. The park’s existing five clay tennis courts are open to the public. The courts were resurfaced in 2019 and new LED lighting was installed. Construction of a new tennis/pool clubhouse and renovations to the existing swimming pool were completed in October 2020. The addition of a new 0.7-mile walking trail is currently underway. Additional improvements to the park, including new clay tennis courts and other park amenities, will take place in the next few years. The park is operated and maintained by New Hanover County Parks & Gardens. The swimming pool will open for Summer 2021 and will be operated by the YMCA.
